NEUMA exists to lead people to make space for God daily and engage with Him.

Jesus is who we point people to, he is concealed in the Old Testament and Revealed in the new. We are Jesus people. Methods will come and go but the message will always remain. (Col 1:16)

We intentionally make space to encounter God so His presence defines us and His face turns toward us. (Exodus 33:15). It is His presence, His face turning to His people that sets us apart. If God’s presence is not with us, then what separates us from any other group or organization.

We offer ourselves fully as living sacrifices—our worship may seem “wasted” to the world, but it is our joy and calling. Obedience is the ultimate worship God receives as our acceptable sacrifice. (Romans 12:1)

Every person matters deeply to God. Like the shepherd who left the ninety-nine for the one and the Father who welcomed the prodigal son, we pursue and celebrate each life. (Luke 15) People are not the problem, they are who we are fighting for.

Unity is our responsibility, and blessing is His promise. We choose humility, forgiveness, and believing the best. We resolve conflict quickly, knowing delayed conflict multiplies.

Dylan and Keirsten Jones
After 15 years of pastoring in Portland, Oregon, we are incredibly grateful to now be building NEUMA Church in the South Bay of Los Angeles. NEUMA is a local church that exists to help people make space for God daily and engage with Him in every area of their lives.
We have four amazing children—Avery, Harper, Luca, and Willow—who are excited to be part of building a church that serves and impacts every generation.
We’ve been building the local church together since the beginning of our marriage and have a deep passion for seeing people encounter Jesus in ways that bring lasting transformation. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of serving in youth ministry, as campus pastors, in executive leadership, on teaching teams, and within church eldership. Through every season, our heart has remained the same: to see God bring life, hope, and transformation to anyone who is open to Him.
That’s why we started NEUMA Church. NEUMA means “the breath of God,” and we believe God desires to breathe fresh life into every person. NEUMA is a place where people can find freedom, discover their purpose, experience authentic community, and see families strengthened to impact generations.
